Dubai is the place to shop, shop and shop. Trendy boutiques, latest fashions and ok prices. If you want to buy any goods in the souqs, haggle hard, but be wary if you buy anything electrical or electronic. May not work when you get home, and you will have no guarantee.

Al Ain Zoo is improving in quality and quantity – over 4000 mammals, birds and reptiles spread over 40 hectares. Worth a look.

Sharjah, with its wonderful sandy beaches and warm blue waters is just to the place to relax. Shopping is not a problem, super shopping malls selling tax free fashion, handicrafts and souvenirs.

Jumeirah, up to date, but still retains its lovely white sandy beaches. This is the place to enjoy watersports, or play golf.
